 Dr. Rashedi is CEO and founder of North County Dental Surgery Center and Smilebuilders Children's Dentistry.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA. She graduated with honors from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed her General Practice Residency from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. From there, her lifelong desire to treat children led her to complete two additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, a hospital consistently ranked in the top ten of all U.S. Children's Hospitals.

Dr. Rashedi proudly serves as a staff member at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego. She has been recognized as a young leader in San Diego County and named a “40 under 40” by both the San Diego Metro Magazine in 2016 and the San Diego Business Journal in 2018.

 Dolores joined Lolita’s Mexican Food in December of 2001. Since then, she has begun to transform Lolita’s from a neighborhood taco shop in Chula Vista into a fast-casual Mexican food restaurant in San Diego County. Under her leadership, Lolita’s began to implement many new disciplines needed to build the current business and grow new locations. With a minor setback in 2020 due to Covid, 2021 has brought new challenges for the 36-year old family-owned business. These opportunities, as Dolores likes to call them, have opened the door to new ideas that will assist as she continues to work with the Lolita’s team to move the company forward.
